Customer Agreed Remuneration

We believe that it’s very important to agree remuneration at the outset with a client. We also feel that dealing only with employed financial planners, who are salaried, ensures that clients’ interests are put above other considerations. Our objective is to offer clients good value for money. Our charges are transparent and are all agreed prior to any costs being incurred by our clients.

Albert Goodman Financial Planning Services

Albert Goodman Chartered Financial Planners provides comprehensive planning advice in some of the most complex areas. To ensure that clients receive impartial advice, we believe that it is important that they are confident that our financial planning advice has no bias and that our charges are on a fee only basis.

The work we are instructed to undertake by our clients and professional introducers can normally be divided into four stages, as follows:

Initial Meeting: Our financial planners offer clients an initial meeting free of charge. Where appropriate, we then write to the client confirming details of any work needing to be done and we also set out our likely fees.

Our Plan (or Strategy) Fee: This covers the cost of initial research and data gathering and of creating a bespoke financial plan for a client; the fee is agreed in advance.

Our Implementation Fee: This covers the cost of implementing some or all of the recommendations made in a client’s financial plan and is agreed in advance.

Our Ongoing Fees: These fees are paid by clients requiring our ongoing service, which aims to ensure the continuing suitability of the client’s initial strategy, through regular contact and/or meetings.

Albert Goodman Independent Financial Advice (IFA) Service

This service is available to clients requiring a traditional IFA service. In such circumstances, commission based advice may be more suitable for the client’s purposes.

However, should a client prefer to pay a fee for the implementation of one or more financial products, we will be pleased to arrange it on that basis.
